NutriPot aims to provide healthy fast food to people on-the-go with half of the recommended daily nutrition in each pot.
Available now, NutriPot is the first instant pot range in the category to provide a fortified meal with added vitamins and minerals. By catering to the 74% of consumers claiming they would like to see a greater variety of healthier snacks for eating on the go and the 76% who would like to see a wider choice of healthy snacks in convenience stores (Mintel 2016), the NutriPot range is set to unlock a healthy sales opportunity for convenience retailers.
For the price of a sandwich (rrp £2.49), each NutriPot provides half the body’s 28 daily vitamin and mineral needs and is available in five variants; Aromatic Thai Noodles, Chicken & Mushroom Noodles, Moroccan Couscous, Quattro Formaggi Pasta, and Pasta Bolognese.
The large bowl like pots just need hot water to create an instant meal and are high in protein for a fuller feeling, low in saturated fats and contain no added sugar, artificial colours or preservatives.
Robert Rona, Nutripot Nutrition director of new products, said: “Consumers want it all and are willing to pay more for premium products with added benefits. The NutriPot range has been developed to deliver great taste, health and convenience and provides retailers with a lucrative opportunity to drive value into the category.”
The launch is being supported with a substantial marketing investment which will include digital and sampling activity to drive consumer awareness and trial.
