Procter & Gamble (P&G) has redesigned its Head & Shoulders female range to make it stand out on the shelf.
Smooth & silky, thick & strong and repair & care anti-dandruff shampoo and conditioners (rrp £2.79) will all boast the new design.
P&G hair care brand manager Jo Vaughn said: “Our female range makes up 10% of the Head & Shoulders business and we’re confident that we can grow this further with an all-new contemporary look that will appeal to female consumers.
“Our research shows that 50% of the UK population are concerned about the health of their scalp, however only 20% are using anti-dandruff shampoo, providing a huge opportunity for us to drive incremental sales and grow the category.
“We have some more exciting news for Head & Shoulders lined up over the next couple of months so we’re encouraging retailers to stock up now to meet demand.”
