Artisan snack brand Popcorn Kitchen has collaborated with plant-based specialist Superfoodio to create a Peanut Butter Buttons Popcorn Kit.
The 440g bottles (RRP £13.99) come packed with mushroom popcorn kernels ready to be popped at home, and vegan peanut butter buttons, made with peanuts, coconut blossom sugar, ethically sourced single origin cocoa butter and salt.
Popcorn Kitchen founder, Louise Monk, said: “As a business owner dealing in immersive snacking and gifting occasions, I’m always on the lookout for intriguing new ingredients with added wow! Like us, Superfoodio is a bustling family business with a bold vision to showcase fine snacking in an innovative, real ingredient light.”
She noted that peanut butter’s popularity was ”at an all-time high” and claimed to have “struck gold” by partnering with Superfoodio.
Both Monk and Superfoodio founder Nirali Mankodi are proud members of the pioneering Buy Women Built movement, an ambitious female founder collective tasked with addressing the shortfall in UK female brand owners by championing female-led challenger brands.
Popcorn Kitchen will be showcasing the new product at the Farm Shop & Deli show, which runs alongside the National Convenience Show at Birmingham NEC (29th April – 1st May).
