Pringles is launching a limited edition Street Food range this summer.
Available until August, the four new flavours are Spicy BBQ, Hot Chilli Sauce, Mac & Cheese and Thai Green Curry.
The new range is being supported by a digital campaign, working with third party endorsers on social media to engage with the Pringles audience.
Clare Furlonger, Kellogg’s UK & Ireland snacks marketing director, said: “Pringles as a brand always aims to be at the forefront of current trends.
“Our research shows a rise in the popularity of street food. We see a growing demand from consumers to widen our flavour portfolio to bring the taste of their favourite cuisines home.”
Pringles ‘Music Speakers’ summer promotion is back, returning this year with upgraded speakers technology for consumers to get their hands on.
With summer being the second largest selling event after Christmas for Pringles, the limited edition offer runs alongside summer activities, such as festivals, picnics and barbecues and will be available in stores from July.
The ‘speaker’ promotion has been running since 2011, offering consumers a portable speaker for buying three Pringles cans. The collectable cans and speakers are impulse purchases, proven to drive sales.
The £2 million TV and Digital campaign will run across the full range offering ‘Buy 3 Cans and Get a Wireless Speaker’.
The campaign will feature on television from the end of July until the end of the campaign in August.
This is the first year the speaker’s promotion will be running across the 40g range of Pringles. The smaller Pringles cans offer consumers the ‘Chance to Win a Wireless Speaker Every Hour’ online with a single code.
