Rollover Hot Dogs is partnering with ‘Star Trek Beyond’ (in cinemas July 22) with a competition to win a once in a lifetime trip to Iceland.
The Hot Dog trays (RRP £1.79) will feature artwork from the movie and will direct consumers to the Rollover Facebook page where they will discover ’Star Trek Beyond’ content and the chance to win a star gazing trip to Iceland including a Northern lights tour, quad biking and lava caving.
This promotion will be supported with POS in retailers and activity on the brands Facebook page.
Tony Owen, sales and marketing director, said: ”We target to reach over 3 million shoppers. We have developed a fantastic POS pack to communicate the promotion in store which includes posters, wobblers and promotional Hot Dog Trays: it will really help retailers to recruit new consumers to the hot food to go category! The tie-up with Star Trek Beyond targets our core audience 16-30 year olds and matches our brand personality: young, lively, and fun.”
The Star Trek Beyond campaign will start on June 27 for eight weeks. The competition closes on September 30.
