Spar is relaunching its own brand paperware range with improved quality and value for money.
The brand’s toilet tissue and family fascial tissues are being upgraded from two, to three ply, and a £1.75 pricemarked pack will be introduced for Spar’s luxury soft four-pack toilet tissue, to match competitor price.
Two new facial tissue products will be added to the range and Spar cube and Spar twin pack pocket tissues will be available in shelf ready packaging to help retailers with merchandising options.
Spar UK brand director Susan Darbyshire said: “The paperware category is very important in building shopper’s confidence of own label within the convenience market. Following a full review, we have made significant improvements to the quality while at the same time offering shoppers great value for money. Spar’s own label paperware range is worth up to £5m in retail sales.”
The paperware range includes: Luxury soft white tissues pricemarked at £1.75, luxury soft white tissue 9 pack (£3.79), ultra strong kitchen towel 2 pack (rrp £1.49), ultra strong decorated kitchen towel 2 pack (rrp £1.49), jumbo kitchen towel (rrp £2.50), ultra soft tissues (rrp £1.15), ultra soft mansize (rrp £1.39), ultra soft tissues cube pack (rrp £1), ultra soft pocket tissues 6 pack (rrp £1) and ultra soft pocket tissues twin pack (rrp 50p).
The new range will phase in to Spar stores during January 2016.
