WALKERS has reduced by 80% the saturated fat content of its brands Quavers, Monster Munch, Walkers Squares and French Fries, and has reduced salt by 25%.
The drop in saturated fat levels is a result of Walkers' switch to Sunseed oil across its crisps range.
Recipes have been rebalanced to maintain taste.
GDA labelling will now feature prominently on pack fronts.
The range has also been redesigned to increase shelf standout.
The relaunch will be backed with a £5m campaign at the end of March, and new packs will be available in cash and carries from mid- February.
