Batchelors is introducing a new jar format to its Cup a Soup brand. Each jar holds 12 servings and is available in the company’s most popular varieties – chicken, golden vegetable and tomato. The jars range from 259g to 299g and are being supported by a £5m marketing package including TV and radio advertising, a poster campaign and interactive website www.agreatbighuginamug.com. The company has also added two new SuperNoodles varieties to its range; Mild Mexican Chilli and 98% fat-free Smoky Bacon increase the number of flavours available in the range to 11, with chicken and barbecue beef the biggest sellers.
