Sunny D is being relaunched in a premium 1 litre and 500ml PET bottles (rrp £1.27 and £1.05) with a label promoting its high vitamin D content and unique fusion of citrus fruits.
With health professionals concerned about levels of vitamin D in UK diets, a 250ml glass of Sunny D provides a vitamin D boost - 50% of the recommended daily amount of the Sunshine Vitamin D - as well vitamins A, C and E and is only 48kcal per 250ml glass.
The new look Sunny D will be available in Tangy Florida, Fruity Mango and Juicy Passion, variations of Sunny D’s base flavour, a distinctive blend of pink grapefruit, orange and lime, much loved by young adults.
To coincide with the relaunch, Sunny D will be advertising in women’s consumer titles in August, including Star and New magazine which will be polybagged with OK magazine. The brand will also be running an online campaign with competitions on Facebook and twitter, a targeted e-marketing competition aimed at young adults and young families who currently do not follow the brand on social media, and promotion via bloggers.
