Walkers is planning to bring excitement to savoury snacking this summer, with the launch of its Smokin’ BBQ Sauce flavour, which is set to join itscore line-up from this week.
The demand for barbecue flavours have grown in recent years, it advises, which presents a significant opportunity for the supplier to help retailers capitalise on this demand with a popular flavour.
Stephanie Herbert, senior marketing manager, said: “We know shoppers are constantly on the look-out for bold, great tasting flavour variations of their favourite snacks. This launch aims to help retailers boost their savoury snacking sales by providing them with an exciting, in-demand flavour that will give their shoppers the delicious taste of barbecue no matter the weather.
“We’ve also ensured that it’s available in a variety of formats to support retailers in spanning their offering across a range of shopper missions, including the increasingly popular lunchtime and on-the-go occasions.”
Walkers Smokin’ BBQ Sauce flavour will be available in a variety of formats, including a 45g grab bag, a six bag multipack and a £1.25 70G PMP.
