Snack brand Wild Trail has announced that its healthier bar range will be listed in the Local Produce section of Co-op stores in Wales.
The company, part of Brighter Foods (Tywyn, Wales), makes fruit and nut trail bars inspired by Snowdonia’s Craig yr Aderyn (Bird Rock), and follows traditional trail mix recipes using five natural ingredients.
Co-op stores in Wales will list the 4 x 30g multi pack format of Wild Trail’s Cacao, Carrot Cake and Seed & Nut variants at an rrp of £2.30.
Wild Trail’s bars are designed to appeal to consumers looking for clean label, free-from and natural snack to enjoy on-the-go or as a source of energy. All of Wild Trail’s bars are gluten and dairy free, vegan, high in fibre and contain no added sugar.
Robin Williams, ceo at Wild Trail, said: “We’re delighted to win the new listing with Co-op. We’ve worked hard to create a free-from snack bar of unrivalled quality that meets the demands of the modern consumer. The launch into Co-op is another great milestone for our brand and we look forward to working with Enterprise Foods and Co-op to support and grow the listing.”
