Kerry Foods is launching Yollies in a new singles format – a tailored solution for the convenience market.
Available in strawberry flavour (rrp 59p) from August 1, the world’s first yogurt lolly on a stick will now be easier to purchase for on-the-go snacking.
Each lolly is packaged in a protective pod featuring one of 16 different characters, including: pirates, Vikings, scuba divers and others to allow kids to pick their favourite; whilst the collectable Yollies sticks will also help to encourage repeat purchase.
Sonal Chotai, Kerry Foods’ trade marketing manager for convenience said: “Yollies Singles are a tailored solution for the convenience sector; the individual price-marked packs will offer a healthier snack for children on-the-go and will continue to expand the category.”
Tom Willcock, kids’ dairy marketing manager at Kerry Foods, said: “Yollies has been extremely successful in its first year and we feel that the time is now right to introduce an individual pod format to meet demand in the food-to-go market. Each lolly contains no artificial colours or flavours, provides a source of calcium, fibre and vitamin D for healthy bones and is individually packaged in a protective pod.
