Premier retailer Mandeep Singh from Sheffield thrilled shoppers with a superhero-themed community fun day on Independence Day (4 July).

Mandeep and his brothers Vrinder and Baljeet dressed as The Hulk, Batman and The Joker on the day which also saw them hold free prize draws and hot dog and goody bag give-aways containing iconic American brands such as Oreo and Hershey’s. 

There was also a bouncy castle and hot dog eating contest.

The event, which was designed to thank the local community for its support, was promoted on social media including Facebook and Twitter.

“It was a lot of fun and the community came out in force to support us,” Mandeep said. 

“We thought having the event on Independence Day fitted perfectly with independent retailers and the superhero theme was the fun part. Everyone really enjoy the day and having the warm weather really helped too,” he added.
