Simply Fresh has launched its first store in Northern Ireland with the opening of a 2,800sq ft site in Holywood, on the outskirts of Belfast.
The new store, owned by retailer Malcolm Hall, includes a Simply Fresh kitchen and dining area serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, including such dishes as smoked salmon & egg muffins and gluten-free burgers. Open from 6am to 9pm every day, strong emphasis has been placed on local and artisan products and suppliers, and the store also features eco-friendly refill stations for both olive oil and Ecover detergents.
Holywood has recently been transformed into a vibrant shopping destination and its close proximity to Belfast city centre gives it the ideal consumer demographic for SimplyFresh’s first store in Northern Ireland, the group explained.
Davinder Jheeta, creative director for SimplyFresh, said: “We are incredibly excited about the launch of the first SimplyFresh store in Northern Ireland. It firmly demonstrates that the SimplyFresh brand is what consumers looking are looking for - to celebrate great local products and share in the passion for good food and drink.”
Store owner Malcom Hall added: “Everything about the brand, including the loyalty app, will help my store to drive the food-to-go offering and increase both sales and profits. What we are offering the local community is a store that embodies value, healthy eating and great to-go options”
