A Sussex-based retailer who has achieved considerable success with his ‘Winebulance’ home delivery service has enhanced the brand with a new wine club.
The Winebulance has gained international recognition and driven wine sales at Selsey Off Licence since owner Andy Short introduced the service in 2013.
Andy has now introduced the Winebulance Wine Club, which is free to join and has no minimum order quantity. People can choose from case deals and get price reductions in relation to the amount they spend.
Consumers can order online at winebulancewineclub.co.uk for deliveries across the UK, with a delivery charge of £9.99 for orders of under £100, and £5.99 between £100 and £200. Orders above £200 are free delivery.
Andy said the wine club was similar to Virgin Wines or Laithwaites in that it didn’t require annual membership, but also offers a “different range of wine”.
The strength of the Winebulance brand encouraged him to launch the wine club, he said. The 8,500 Winebulance followers on Facebook are spread across the UK, in cities such as Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
“Like Virgin Wines, we’re hoping people will buy into the brand,” Andy said.
