James and Siobhan’s hard work was recognised last year when they picked up the highly commended award for best independent store at our 2010 awards. This time round they blew the judges away with an array of new developments.
Since then they have continued to build the store’s exciting product range, adding new noodle snacks and chutneys. They have also invested £30,000 in an in-store pizzeria, which is pulling in customers from a wide area. One individual even drove more than five miles from Tottenham to try one of the high-end pizzas.
The judges felt that this thriving store had plenty to offer and really stood out from its competitors by being unique.
