The Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) has announced its first ever group independent retailer ambassadors.

The ambassador programme selects and recognises retailers who have been outstanding in their support of the work that ACS does, whether through campaigns, events, social media engagement, interviews, or research.

ACS chief executive James Lowman said the trade body is delighted to announce our first group of ACS ambassadors: “These are already great supporters of the industry and of our work at ACS, coming to events and sharing their knowledge with others, giving their views and providing information through surveys and our expert groups to help our policy work. Becoming an ambassador allows these top retailers to show their support, and it is well-deserved recognition for them.

“We have been absolutely thrilled with the response to our ambassador programme which shows the sector is energised to work together to help each other and influence the future. We can’t wait to do even more work with this group of fantastic people.”
