Barcode Festival 2024 was a “huge success” for GroceryAid, bringing together almost 5000 industry colleagues, including over 1000 retailers, and 110 brand activations.
The charity raised £1.3m to support grocery workers in need, thanks to everyone who attended and volunteered.
“As well as raising vital funds, the event spreads awareness of GroceryAid and our welfare offer, which means more people in our industry are able to learn about us and access our services,” explained Kieran Hemsworth, chief executive of GroceryAid.
Whether you are coming to reward and recognise your team for their hard work, activate your brand in front of senior industry figures, or to network and provide hospitality for industry connections, Barcode Festival is ”always a unique celebration of the industry”.
Due to the success and growing demand for the festival, in 2025 Barcode Festival is moving to a bigger venue.
GroceryAid announced that the festival will be at Kenwood House, London, on 3rd July 2025, with more people, more brands, and more ways to get involved.
“The growth of Barcode festival is a testament to the support we receive from the grocery industry, and we’re looking forward to bringing everyone together again next year, and being able to help even more people as a result,” Hemsworth added.
