Jisp’s Scan & Save has partnered with multi-site retailer Sudheesh Pallikulangara. His Sudi’s Stores estate has eight sites across the northwest of England, and is set to go live with the loyalty and rewards app from 6 March.
The eight stores are predominantly in the Blackpool and Lytham St Annes area. Sam Halliwell, operations manager overseeing the businesses eight stores, said: “We’ve been researching the market and had seen the benefits Jisp Scan & Save could bring to a retail operation. Given the cost-of-living crisis we felt it was the right time to bring it into our estate, both as a way of rewarding our customers with great deals and loyalty payments and helping to grow our sales and profitability.”
It is hoped that Scan & Save will add a further benefit to customers bringing discounts and loyalty rewards to help manage shopping budgets.
All stores go live with Scan & Save from Wednesday 6 March, the start of a new promotional period which carries a whole host of footfall driving promotions from major brands.
“We’re delighted to welcome Sudi and his retail estate onboard with Scan & Save,” said Esther Lawrence, retail director at Jisp. “We’ve been working closely with Sam to get the proposition up and running across all eight stores and we’re confident that it will be a huge success and a welcome addition to the communities the stores serve – particularly in such a value driven market.”
Scan & Save offers both a loyalty and reward scheme for independent retailers. The money-off vouchers can be used in a specific local store whilst the shopper earns rewards. The scheme ensures shopper loyalty to local stores helping communities thrive by keeping spend local.
