JW Filshill has relaunched its website in a move to meet the demands of the “growing number of tech-savvy retailers” joining its KeyStore fascia group.
The new design includes mobile-friendly features, designed to accommodate the needs of busy retailers who like to order on the move via their phone or other hand-held devices.
It is also linked to the Filshill app which features instant barcode scanning for convenient ordering, user-managed favourites and instant notification of current promotions.
Customers can also ”benefit from online order management giving visibility of orders and delivery tracking, plus account management for payment notifications,” said the company.
The new website also allows customers to search Filshill’s full product range, place orders, and view their account history. Those using the wholesaler’s ReScan Epos system also benefit from real-time data that provides information to help them drive profitability and run their shops much more efficiently.
As part of its 10-year growth strategy, in March 2023 the company relocated its headquarters from Hillington to its 120,400 sq. ft distribution depot in Westway Park near Glasgow.
The company added that the move was planned to increase operational capacity and service more stores across Scotland and the north of England.
Simon Hannah chief executive officer at Filshill said: “We have settled well into our new, state-of-the-art distribution depot which is delivering improve efficiency and reducing costs. It is important our website not only reflects our physical infrastructure at Westway but also online, highlighting our customer-centric service that we offer all our current and future customers.
“As today’s generation of retailers embraces technology and expects cutting-edge solutions to help them stay on top of their businesses – in the shop, at home, or on the move – we have responded to customer needs to make finding products and ordering faster more straightforward.”
“Our goal was to create a mobile-friendly platform that is as visually striking as our custom-built depot,” revealed Sue Man, Filshill’s group marketing manager.
