McColl’s has appointed Christopher Rogerson as its new group operations manager.
Rogerson moves to McColl’s from James Convenience Retail, where he spent three years as business manager and was responsible for 25 stores in the group. He was also previously an area manager with Aldi.
According to McColl’s, the group operations manager role has “accountability for circa 40 stores, leading, coaching and developing high performing teams across a group of stores”. A spokesperson added: “The role delivers an excellent shopping experience for customers, maximising sales and profit contribution for the business. The role business partners key stakeholders to contribute to the delivery of the overall business strategy, keeping colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do.”
