Nisa managing director Peter Batt has appointed Katie Secretan onto his senior leadership team as director of sales and retail, in a move to help drive and implement its long-term business plans.
Joining from her most recent role as retail transformation director at the Post Office, Secretan will be responsible for setting the strategic direction to deliver against its 2030-year business plan, whilst being accountable for growth objectives, through recruitment and retention across its retail and wholesale partners.
Commenting on the appointment, Peter Batt said: “I’m delighted to welcome Katie to the team and I’m excited for the integral role she’ll play in delivering on our ambitions to be the wholesale partner of choice. Our retailers are at the heart of the decisions we make, and the experience Katie will bring, along with the work she’ll be leading, are going to be instrumental in how we deliver our long-term ambitions.”
Katie Secretan said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Peter and the team and look forward to meeting the network of Nisa Retailers who make today’s business so successful. My priority will be to lead the commercial strategy and deliver on the ambitious growth plans, with the support of the wider Co-op Group, this will be a very exciting time for the wholesale retail market”.
Secretan will start in her new role mid-January 2024.
