Sugro UK has appointed former Nisa and AF Blakemore executive Raj Krishan as head of business development, a newly-created role.
Krishan will be responsible for developing and delivering the buying group’s strategic initiatives for sales and business improvements, including developing current and future member relationships.
He joins the Sugro team from AF Blakemore where he served as Wholesale Distribution sales director. Prior to joining Blakemore, he held senior posts at My Local, Landmark, Today’s and Nisa.
Sugro UK managing director Neil Turton said: “Raj is an experienced wholesale expert, who very much fits with the business growth strategy that is of growing wholesale and contracts business, in addition to increasing membership. Raj will be a significant and vital asset to Sugro in becoming a better wholesaler.”
Krishan said: “I’m excited to be joining and contributing to the growth of Sugro UK. I’m looking forward to working with the team and members to develop the many opportunities in these fast paced and changing times of wholesale.”
