Brookfield to distribute Super Bock beer in the UK

Brookfield Drinks has won the rights to distribute Unicer’s portfolio in the UK, including Portuguese beer brand Super Bock.

Super Bock will be rolled out in the off trade in bottle format and supported by an extensive marketing campaign.

Managing director Nigel McNally said: “Imported beers from Southern Europe are proving very popular amongst British drinkers looking to recapture the flavours of their vacations. The rise of brands like Peroni and Estrella proves that this is a dynamic and growing sector in the largely flat beer and lager category. Being Portugal’s No. 1 beer brand gives Super Bock the credibility to challenge successful brands in this category.”
