St Peter's Brewery Gluten Free Beers

Brewed with full Coeliac UK certification, the new beers are aimed at the growing number of shoppers, including coeliacs and those with a food intolerance, looking for a gluten-free alcoholic drink.

The gluten-free stout and Suffolk gold are brewed to the same standards as the original versions. The stout (rrp ) uses local malts and hops. With an abv of 6.5%, the beer also features coffee and vanilla notes.

Meanwhile, St Peter’s Suffolk golden ale features citrus notes and boasts an abv of 4.9%. The drink also features Suffolk hops which gives the beer a sweet but dry taste.

John Hadingham, managing director at St Peter’s Brewery, said: “This is an exciting launch for St Peter’s and a great opportunity to meet the growing customer demand for full-flavoured gluten-free stouts and strong, full-bodied ales.

“We’ve had a lot of requests for gluten free versions of our most popular beers so we are happy to be able to meet the needs of our customers.”
