Boost Drinks is launching a new Red Berry flavour and teaming up with dating app Tinder for its Valentine’s Day campaign.
Red Berry is the latest addition to the Boost Energy 250ml can range and is price-marked at 49p. The product is already available to convenience stores in Northern Ireland and will launch across the UK on 11 February
Simon Gray, founder and managing director at Boost said: “We know that our Northern Irish consumers and retailers just can’t get enough of Red Berry, so much so we have just launched it in a new 500ml sku for them. It was only right that we brought the flavour to the market across the rest of the UK. As an independent brand ourselves, we are committed to supporting independent retailers, so we wanted to bring them a product we are confident will maximise their sales, and given the timing, it makes an apt Valentine’s gift!”.
To support the introduction of Red Berry in the UK, Boost is running a new love-themed marketing campaign. The activity will see the brand partner with Tinder, to give consumers the chance to win a blind date.
The competition, which runs until 4 February, will be advertised across Tinder dating platforms, social media, YouTube videos and in print. The giveaway includes a special meal where celebrity host Vicky Pattinson will help the winners on their date.
Boost is also supporting the campaign with out-of-home advertising, consumer sampling and in-store activation for select independent retailers across the country.
