Global Brands has launched a new premium gold-infused liqueur. Jungfrau Gold Edition is available in a 70cl bottle and has an abv of 30%.

According to Global Brands marketing director Simon Green, the new launch is designed to tap into the demand for premium drinks.

“Cinnamon and gold-flaked liqueurs are growing at 17%, one of the biggest growths in the liqueur category,” he said. “Plus consumers are going out less and spending more on ‘big nights in’ so they’re prepared to pay more to recreate an indulgent, on-trade experience at home.”
