Heinz has developed and extended its current infant feeding offering, with new additions to the Infant Drinks range, as well as the launch of improved Baby Breakfast Cereal.
Available now, Heinz’s new fruit and veg based drinks, ‘Fruit and Veg! Spring Water,’ are a blend of spring water with fruit and vegetable juices in two flavours, Orange, Mango & Carrot and Apple & Carrot.
Also new to the Infant Drinks range is new ‘Splash! Spring Water,’ naturally flavoured spring water with a splash of fruit juice, available in Peach & Apple and Red Berries and Apple flavours.
Improvements have been made to the flavours of Heinz’s Apple and Apple and Blackcurrant drinks, offering consumers a no added sugar drink. They are available in two bottle sizes, 500ml rrp £1.49 and 150ml rrp 69p.
Finally, Heinz has improved its original Baby Breakfast Cereal recipes. Each pack now provides 12 essential vitamins and minerals, no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or added sugar - the consumer just has to add water.
All of the new launches are backed by digital advertising and display advertisements.
Nina Shanahan, senior brand manager at Heinz, said: “With the growing concerns of added sugar content within products, we have noticed that mums are moving away from dedicated children’s ranges which provide ingredients, vital for little ones development and looking to adult alternatives, which don’t offer the same nutritional benefits. We want to encourage mums back into the infant feeding category by introducing new and exciting variations to our ranges alongside new and improved recipes.”
