DEL MONTE is moving into the smoothie market with a new range of drinks. The company’s 100% Fruit Smoothie range will be available in four blends - mango & passionfruit, pineapple & mango, strawberry & banana and summer berry. The smoothies will be available in 1ltr cartons or 330ml bottles. According to Del Monte, each 150ml smoothie serving contains one of the five-a-day portions of fruit recommended by the government. The launch will be supported by trials to encourage awareness of the brand.
