DIAGEO GREAT BRITAIN is investing £5m in a new marketing campaign for Guinness, which focuses on 17:59, playing on the year Arthur Guinness took over the St James’ Gate brewery in Dublin and the start of an evening’s entertainment. ● The ‘Guinness Time’ campaign involves an on-pack promotion, in-store sampling, TV and print advertising and PR. ● The marketing will run for six weeks across the larger 10-, 12-, 15- and 18-packs of Guinness Draught in a Can and the Guinness Original 12 pack. ● In addition to the on-pack promotion, ’17:59.
