Coconut water drink Coco5 is now available to UK retailers.

Previously available in the US, Coco5 has been introduced in the UK and hopes to capitalise on the growing coconut water market.

Available in six variants - natural coconut, tropical passion, lemon, cherry crush, citrus splash and pineapple - the 473ml bottles have an rrp of £2.29.

Innovation Drinks CEO Steve Barton said the variety of flavours would help the brand stand apart. “Coconut water is currently the fastest growing sector in the drinks category, forecast to hit £83m in the UK this year, up from £7m in 2013,” he said. “Given the importance of taste when rehydrating, we are certain this will be a key selling point.”
